Q. How do I renew my Tipasa item?

Renewals are not automatic for Tipasa items. You must manually request a renewal. The lending library will then decide whether to approve or deny your renewal request.

Please note: If the item’s bookwrap is marked with “No renewals,” the lending library will not renew it under any circumstances.

To request a renewal:

1. Login to your Tipasa account. (You can also access Tipasa from the link on the library's website, under the Borrow menu.)

2. In your list of Requests, locate the item you want to renew.

3. Click “Renew request” next to the item. If you do not see a “Renew request” button next to the item you want to renew, that means the item has reached its due date. Items typically cannot be renewed once they have reached their due dates.

4. You will receive an email notifying you we are processing your renewal request.

5. Later, you will receive an email notifying you whether the lending library approved or denied your renewal request. This email will tell you the item’s due date.
