Q. How can I pick up I-Share books at a library other than Knox?
You can make requests for I-Share items in Knox Primo and choose to have the items sent to a specific I-Share library for you to pick up:
1. Sign into Knox Primo using your Knox credentials (the same way you sign into my.knox.edu).
2. Search for items you want to request through I-Share by selecting the "All I-Share Libraries" option on the search bar.

3. When you find an item you want to request, click on the title to bring up the full record. Scroll down to the " How to Get It" section and click on the I-Share option.
4. A form will open. In the section "Preferred Pickup Location" select a library other than Knox:

5. Click on "Send Request" to submit the request.
At smaller institutions there will be only one pick-up location. But at larger institutions, you may have a choice between several pick-up locations (libraries). The University of Illinois at Chicago is an example of an institution that has "Pick up Locations" across the state (Rockford, Peoria, multiple ones in Chicagoland area, etc.) that are part of the same "Pick Up Library."
6. You will receive an email message that will tell you the library and location where you can pick up items. Go to that library and ask for your item at the circulation desk. We recommend you look at the I-Share libraries map or list, or call the location they want to pick up from to make sure it is the right place. You must present your valid Knox ID to check out the item.
You may return items you borrowed through I-Share at any I-Share library.
