Q. Can I get a film using Tipasa?

If a film, music recording, or other non-print item is not available at Knox or via I-Share, then you may be able to borrow a copy through our interlibrary loan (ILL) system, Tipasa.

To request non-print material through the Tipasa service:

  1. Login to your Tipasa account
  2. Click on the Create Request button.
  3. Click on the "Other" option from the Request type menu:
  4. Fill in the request form with as much information about the item as you can.
  5. Click the Submit Request button.

When borrowing A/V materials from Tipasa, keep these policies in mind:

  • Pick up and return items at the Seymour Library Circulation desk
  • Films cannot be placed on Reserve
  • Loan periods vary
  • Renewals vary
